Account Purges happen on the first of the month when we delete inactive accounts on the forums. All inactive accounts have their rank removed or will get deleted, depending on how inactive they are, which can be viewed later on in this page. Users with their accounts deleted must re-create their accounts and work their way back up to their rank. Users with their rank removed must work back up. Beta accounts deleted in the purge will be added to the usergroup retired while with the rank retired beta. Retired beta accounts deleted will not get the retired beta rank again, but just retired. All accounts deleted & re-created two times will be added to the usergroup retired with the rank of retired (the rank you were). All accounts who were deleted, re-created, and then had their rank removed will be also added to the retired usergroup. No retired users may get another special rank besides contest winners, unless you post 100 times for two months. If you do, after the account purge on the 2nd month, your account will get restored to the original rank. All accounts can only be restored twice. If you get restored twice and get the rank retired again, you will have the retired rank forever, unless you can get 20 people (including admins & mods), plus all the admins and moderators to vote for you not getting retired. Then you will get restored again. Take note that in the rare case that this does happens and you get retired again, you really are on your own for the retired rank forever unless every single user including retired users vote for you (which is highly doubtful to happen, so I won’t continue. Believe me, it won’t happen.) All accounts that have the status marked inactive on the red status are going to be deleted. All inactive accounts with the orange or yellow mark (meaning less inactive) will lose their special rank(s) unless they told me that they are going on vacation or won’t be posting for a while. Any users who have said they are going on vacation but haven’t posted again in 2 months are getting their rank removed. Any accounts who have said they are going on vacation and haven’t posted in 3 months are getting deleted. Any accounts who have been banned at any time after the last account purge will get their rank removed (though if they got banned they already should have) if inactive but not deleted no matter what. The date of forum account purges is the 1st of every month. *NOTE: We do account purges by IP addresses AND e-mail, meaning that if you have an alias account and a main account, and you don't post enough on your main but post enough on your alias, both accounts will stay. Administrators get a pass they can use every 2 months for not getting their account purged or their rank deleted, though there is still the pass of telling a site owner that you are going to be inactive. When admins get a purge, no matter how inactive they are, the punishment for yellow or orange is being demoted to regular user while still being able to keep beta. If an admin doesn't post at all on the same month, then they get retired and lose beta rank. Comments have been disabled due to the fact that they are not needed. We do not need complains or users boasting about they are more active than others. Be active, and you will be fine.
